- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆HORRIBLE MORTGAGE DEPARTMENT! Do not go through 5/3 to purchase a home. We are first time home buyers and had a TERRIBLE experience with this branch and 5/3 in general. They doubled our closing cost the day of closing, without informing us beforehand, then no one could explain as to why it was doubled. Since it was the 45th day, we HAD to sign. SO we went above the branch level and tried to get a better understanding, and even that person couldn't explain it to us. To add on to it, we started to work through mortgage customer care and even she couldn't get us a good explanation. In all, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME…. they just want your money and will do anything to get it.By Whitley Dierig, October 25, 2016
